Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Luxcom Inc., doing business as Haus of Brilliance ("Haus of Brilliance," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and otherwise process personal information when you visit www.hausofbrilliance.com (the "Site"), make a purchase, open an account, contact us, submit an appraisal or warranty request, participate in promotions, or otherwise interact with our direct-to-consumer services (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy concerns the Services operated by Luxcom Inc. It does not generally govern purchases made from independent marketplaces, department stores, or other retailers acting as the seller of record; those businesses may provide their own privacy notices. It also does not replace the separate privacy notices of independent payment, financing, insurance, or other third-party services you choose to use. Shopify also processes certain information as an independent business or controller for its enhanced services, as explained in Section 5.
Privacy contact and business identity: Luxcom Inc. d/b/a Haus of Brilliance, 1212 Sixth Avenue, Suite 2304, New York, NY 10036, United States; service@hausofbrilliance.com; telephone +1 (929) 596-4287. For personal information that we collect and decide how to use, Luxcom Inc. is generally the business or data controller. Other service providers, including Shopify, may also process some information for their own stated purposes.
1. Personal Information We Collect
The information collected depends on how you interact with us. We may collect the following categories:
- Identifiers and contact details: your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, customer-account identifiers, communication preferences, and similar details.
- Orders and commercial information: products viewed, saved, placed in a cart, ordered, returned, or exchanged; purchase history; product preferences; discounts or gifts applied; delivery details; order status; and purchase-related communications.
- Payment and transaction information: order totals, payment method type, payment status, transaction identifiers, refunds, and information needed for payment verification or fraud prevention. Full card credentials are ordinarily handled by Shopify or payment providers rather than directly stored by Haus of Brilliance.
- Device, online-activity, and approximate location data: IP address, browser and device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, product and page activity, searches, clicks, cart interactions, cookie and advertising identifiers, and general location inferred from an IP address or selected shipping region.
- Communications and user-submitted content: customer-service inquiries, email or text-message communications, chat interactions, reviews, ratings, images you submit, warranty or return documentation, and other information you choose to share. Calls or chats may be processed by customer-service technology, including an automated assistant; we will provide any recording notices required by law.
- Jewelry service and appraisal requests: the product or SKU, retailer, purchase or order number, contact details, and other information submitted for a warranty request, repair, appraisal, gift service, or similar request.
- Marketing and preference information: newsletter and SMS subscription status, timestamps and records of consent or opt-out requests, promotion participation, engagement with our messages, referral or affiliate sources, and preferences or inferences drawn from shopping activity where permitted by law.
We do not ask you to submit Social Security numbers or complete payment-card details through ordinary customer-service email or website forms. Please do not send sensitive information unless we provide a secure method and it is reasonably necessary for your request.
2. Where We Obtain Information
We obtain information (a) directly from you when you browse, order, subscribe, register, contact us, or submit a form; (b) automatically through the Site, Shopify, cookies, pixels, analytics, and similar technologies; (c) from payment providers, fulfillment partners, fraud-prevention services, marketing vendors, referral or affiliate partners, and other providers assisting with a transaction or interaction; and (d) from other sources when you direct them to share information with us or the collection is otherwise lawful.
3. Why We Use Personal Information
We use personal information for the following business purposes:
- Provide our Services: operate the Site, maintain accounts and shopping carts, process payments, fulfill orders, arrange insured shipping, track deliveries, administer returns, exchanges, repairs, appraisals, and warranties, and communicate with you about a transaction.
- Customer service and operations: answer questions, investigate delivery or product issues, troubleshoot and improve the Site, manage inventory, and keep records of requests and resolutions.
- Security and fraud prevention: verify transactions, detect suspicious activity or misuse, protect customers and the Site, investigate disputes, and safeguard our rights.
- Analytics and improvement: understand how visitors find and use the Site, measure performance and conversion, troubleshoot problems, test features, and improve product presentation and customer experience.
- Marketing and advertising: send marketing emails or text messages when permitted, administer promotions and referral programs, measure campaigns, and personalize recommendations and advertising in accordance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
- Legal and compliance purposes: comply with tax, accounting, consumer, customs, privacy, and other legal obligations; respond to lawful process; defend or exercise legal rights; and enforce relevant terms.
- Business transactions: evaluate or carry out a lawful merger, financing, restructuring, sale, or transfer of part or all of our business, subject to applicable confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
When the EU or UK GDPR applies, the lawful basis depends on the purpose: performance of a contract for orders and requested services; legal obligation for required records and compliance; legitimate interests for proportionate Site security, fraud prevention, business administration, service improvement, and certain customer communications, subject to applicable balancing and objection rights; and consent where required for nonessential tracking, targeted advertising, or electronic marketing. We may rely on another lawful basis when specifically permitted and appropriately disclosed. Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests include operating a secure, efficient online jewelry business, preventing fraud, responding to customers, and evaluating the effectiveness of our services.
4. How and With Whom We Disclose Information
We disclose relevant categories of personal information only as reasonably appropriate to the purpose and subject to applicable law. Recipients include:
- Commerce and technology platforms: Shopify, which hosts our store and supports checkout, accounts, analytics, and related commerce tools; and other technical service providers supporting hosting, site functionality, integrations, or customer experience.
- Payment, financing, fraud, and verification providers: payment processors, payment-method providers, fraud-prevention vendors, and financing or deferred-payment providers selected at checkout or otherwise used to process or assess a transaction.
- Fulfillment and jewelry-service partners: warehouses, shipping carriers, insurers, customer-service providers, repair or appraisal partners, and providers assisting with delivery, claims, returns, or documentation.
- Marketing, messaging, analytics, and advertising partners: we use Meta and Google advertising or analytics pixels and tags, Microsoft Clarity analytics and session-interaction technology, and Triple Whale analytics and attribution pixels. Depending on the integration, consent, and activity, these providers may receive device or online identifiers, approximate location, website interaction and product-view events, cart and checkout events, purchase or conversion information, and, where configured and lawful, contact identifiers used for advertising measurement or matching. We also use Klaviyo and may use SMS campaign providers such as RevSave, as well as affiliate and referral services such as impact.com and ShareASale where applicable. Other analytics or marketing integrations may be used when relevant to a feature or campaign.
- Other integrated programs: loyalty, review, gifting, financing, advertising, security, or personalization applications that you interact with or that we use to deliver the relevant feature.
- Authorities and professional advisers: courts, regulators, law enforcement, insurers, auditors, legal advisers, and other parties where reasonably necessary to comply with law, establish or defend claims, or protect rights, safety, or property.
- Corporate-transaction parties: participants and advisers in a proposed or completed business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Some providers process information on our behalf, and others determine certain uses of the information independently. We do not control the privacy practices of unrelated third parties that you visit or engage with separately.
5. Shopify and Shopify-Enabled Services
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information about visits and purchases so it can provide commerce, payment, security, and other services. Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store. Shopify therefore also processes certain information about customers' interactions with our store, Shopify, and other participating merchants to support enhanced Shopify services, including fraud prevention, merchant insights, advertising, and personalization. Shopify may use information across merchants for these purposes in accordance with its own notices, and processing may involve Shopify and service providers in other countries. Other merchants do not receive direct access to our store's individual customer records merely because this feature is enabled.
Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy for details about Shopify's activities and privacy rights, and visit Shopify's privacy portal to manage privacy choices relating to Shopify's own processing, including eligible cross-merchant personalized advertising. These are separate from requests you send directly to Haus of Brilliance.
6. Analytics, Targeted Advertising, and Data Sharing
Our Site uses advertising and measurement pixels, tags, application integrations, and related technologies, including the Meta Pixel, Google advertising and analytics tags, Microsoft Clarity, and Triple Whale. These technologies help us understand how visitors use the Site, measure and attribute purchases to advertising or referrals, analyze the customer journey, troubleshoot user-experience issues, create or evaluate audiences, and show or measure advertising on third-party websites or services. Depending on the integration, similar information may also be transferred through server-to-server events or APIs.
Depending on your interactions and applicable consent settings, the information used or disclosed may include cookie or advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, browser and device details, referral sources, page views, product views, clicks, scrolling activity, searches, cart or checkout events, order or conversion information, and inferences about shopping interests. Microsoft Clarity may provide aggregated behavioral analytics, heatmaps, and session-replay or interaction information, such as scrolling and clicking, to help us assess website usability. Triple Whale helps analyze commerce performance and advertising attribution. Meta and Google help measure advertising performance and, where allowed, support personalized advertising. The exact data available to each provider depends on our implementation and any applicable restrictions or preferences.
Shopify Network Intelligence is also enabled, as described in Section 5. Some advertising and measurement arrangements involve the collection or sharing of information from your interactions with this Site and other merchants or services. You may exercise the choices described in this Policy where available under applicable law.
Some disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising may qualify as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state privacy statutes, even when no money is paid for the data. We provide eligible visitors with ways to request applicable opt-outs as described below. We do not treat a request to stop advertising-related sharing as a request to stop necessary order fulfillment, security, or service communications.
Your Privacy Choices: Visit www.hausofbrilliance.com/pages/data-sharing-opt-out for the opt-out mechanism made available on our Site. You may also email service@hausofbrilliance.com with the subject "Privacy Request". Shopify's automated data-sharing opt-out functionality is configured for applicable U.S. states. Where applicable law requires recognition of valid opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), we seek to honor those signals for the applicable browser, device, and processing activities. Other preferences, including nonessential cookie choices, may be managed through the Site's cookie settings where presented. If you need help exercising a choice, contact us using the details below.
7. Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files stored on a browser or device. Pixels and related technologies can record interactions with webpages, messages, and advertisements. Depending on your settings and the technologies enabled, we use the following categories:
- Strictly necessary technologies: help keep the Site functioning, retain cart contents, maintain secure sessions, facilitate checkout, prevent fraud, and remember required privacy settings.
- Preferences and functionality: remember region, language, display settings, or other optional features.
- Analytics and performance: measure traffic, errors, navigation, conversions, and interactions; analytics or session-replay services may help us evaluate how visitors use the Site.
- Advertising and attribution: recognize visits or advertising interactions, measure campaigns, and support personalized advertising, where allowed.
Shopify uses functional session and cart cookies as well as analytics and consent-preference technologies. The Meta, Google, Microsoft Clarity, and Triple Whale integrations described above may use pixels, browser storage, online identifiers, or related event-tracking methods. Third-party providers can also process information sent through APIs or server-side integrations where configured. The technologies that run for a particular visitor and their retention periods depend on the vendor, integration, applicable law, and privacy settings; not every cookie or pixel runs for every visitor.
Consent and preferences. We use Shopify's cookie-consent banner in regions selected by our customer-privacy settings, including relevant European regions. The banner offers options to accept, decline, or manage nonessential technologies. Where applicable law requires consent, nonessential analytics, advertising, or personalization technologies are subject to that requirement. Shopify's automated data-sharing opt-out page is available in configured U.S. states. You can also manage browser cookies, although doing so may interfere with cart, account, or checkout functionality. App, custom, or theme-installed pixels may have different technical consent integrations; a preference expressed through Shopify's tools may not automatically control every independently installed script unless the integration is configured to recognize it. Please contact us if you have questions about an opt-out or privacy request. Browser "Do Not Track" signals and legally recognized opt-out preference signals such as GPC are not necessarily the same; the handling of recognized signals is described in Section 6.
8. Email, SMS, and Cart Reminders
We use contact information to send order confirmations, service notices, fulfillment updates, customer-support messages, and other communications relevant to your transactions.
If you separately enroll in marketing, we may send email newsletters, offers, promotional reminders, and other marketing communications to your email address. You may unsubscribe using a link in a promotional email or by contacting us. Transactional or legally required communications may continue when appropriate.
If you choose to opt into promotional SMS through our signup forms, checkout, or another authorized enrollment method, we may collect your phone number, consent status and records, shopping or abandoned-cart activity, and message interaction data to administer the messaging program you requested. Depending on the consent you provided, texts may include offers, product promotions, or cart reminders. SMS enrollment is voluntary, separate from agreeing to the general Terms of Service, and is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message/data rates may apply. To stop marketing messages, reply STOP to a message or use the provided unsubscribe mechanism; reply HELP or contact us for assistance. We process other reasonable revocation requests in accordance with applicable law.
We use messaging platforms, telecommunications providers, and other service providers as needed to operate SMS programs. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in or consent data with unaffiliated third parties for those parties' independent marketing. We may disclose such information to providers supporting the messaging program, to carry out your requests, and when required by law. Review our Mobile Terms of Service for additional program information. Separate consent may be required for different programs or message types.
We may offer an optional introductory discount or other promotional benefit for subscribing to marketing. The offer amount, eligibility conditions, and any restrictions should be displayed when the offer is made. Customers may later withdraw marketing consent without affecting their right to make purchases; the treatment of an already-redeemed discount is subject to the offer terms and applicable law. Additional notices concerning financial incentives or discounts connected with personal information may be required in certain jurisdictions.
9. Your U.S. Privacy Rights and Requests
Depending on where you reside and which privacy laws apply to us, you may have rights to request access to or a copy of your personal information, know certain categories and recipients, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain data portability, opt out of certain sales or sharing for targeted advertising, restrict certain sensitive-data uses, and opt out of certain profiling or automated decisions. Rights, exceptions, identity-verification requirements, and response timeframes vary by jurisdiction.
To submit a privacy-rights request, contact service@hausofbrilliance.com with the subject Privacy Request or write to our mailing address below. To opt out of eligible advertising-related sharing, you may also use our Privacy Choices page. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, authority, and the nature of your request, using a secure method when appropriate. We will not require unnecessary sensitive identification documents. We will respond within the periods required by applicable law, may explain any lawful exception, and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
If your jurisdiction provides an appeals process for denied requests, you may appeal by emailing the same address with the subject Privacy Appeal. Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf, subject to appropriate verification of authority. If you wish to withdraw consent for a particular optional processing activity, you may use the relevant consent controls or contact us.
California and similar state disclosures: The categories of information described in Section 1 include identifiers, commercial information, internet/network activity, approximate geolocation, communications or submitted content, and inferences. The categories of sources, business purposes, and recipients are described in Sections 2–6. We use service providers for order processing, Site operation, delivery, payment, marketing, fraud prevention, customer service, and analytics; the categories disclosed may include information from the categories above as relevant to each purpose. Advertising-related disclosures can include identifiers, online activity, transaction or product interactions, approximate location, and inferences, to advertising, analytics, and measurement partners. We do not represent that personal information exchanged for advertising measurement is outside the statutory definitions of "sale" or "sharing." Where applicable law requires more specific notices of particular practices, those notices supplement this Policy.
10. EEA, UK, and Other International Privacy Rights
Where EU GDPR, UK GDPR, or another applicable data protection law governs a transaction, Luxcom Inc. generally acts as controller for the personal information processed to run our direct store. Depending on your circumstances, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection; you may also withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. You may object to direct marketing at any time. Additional rights concerning decisions made solely by automated means may apply in qualifying circumstances.
To exercise rights or request information about relevant lawful bases or cross-border transfer safeguards, email service@hausofbrilliance.com. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law. Luxcom Inc.'s principal privacy contact is in the United States, at the postal address shown at the end of this Policy. Any additional representative details that applicable law requires us to publish will be provided in a supplementary notice when appropriate.
11. International Transfers
Luxcom Inc. is based in the United States. We and our service providers may process or store information in the United States, Canada, Europe, and other countries where the provider or its sub-processors operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from your own. International transfers may be subject to legal safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, UK addenda, or other permitted transfer arrangements, depending on the location and provider. We and our service providers are responsible for meeting applicable transfer requirements. Please contact us to request further information about relevant safeguards where applicable.
12. How Long We Retain Information
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes explained in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. The retention period depends on the category and context:
- Order, payment, tax, shipping, warranty, return, and accounting records are kept as necessary to complete transactions, honor applicable rights, resolve disputes, and meet recordkeeping obligations.
- Account and customer-service information is retained while needed to provide the service or maintain a relevant record of the interaction, and then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed, subject to lawful exceptions.
- Marketing subscription and consent records are maintained as needed to manage preferences and demonstrate compliance; limited suppression records may be kept after opt-out to avoid sending further unwanted messages.
- Cookie, analytics, fraud-screening, and advertising information is retained under the applicable settings, provider retention schedules, and the need for security, performance measurement, or compliance.
When information is no longer required, we take steps to delete, de-identify, or otherwise appropriately dispose of it, subject to technical backup cycles and legal retention obligations. A request for deletion may not require immediate deletion of records we are legally obligated or otherwise permitted to retain.
13. Security
We and our service providers use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We may take reasonable measures to verify identities and investigate suspected security or fraud incidents. If a data incident triggers a legally required notice, we will provide that notice in accordance with applicable law.
14. Automated Screening and Decisions
Shopify, payment processors, and fraud-prevention services may use automated tools to evaluate transactions, identify suspected misuse, or flag orders for additional review. Such tools may affect whether an order is approved, declined, held, or requires verification. Where applicable law gives you rights relating to a qualifying solely automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects, you can request information or seek applicable review by contacting us. We do not use this statement to waive those rights.
15. Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact service@hausofbrilliance.com so we can review the matter and take legally appropriate action.
16. Other Websites and Services
The Site may link to outside websites, review platforms, social networks, financing providers, insurers, or other services. Their use of personal information is governed by their own privacy notices where they act independently. We encourage you to review those notices before submitting information to them.
17. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, vendors, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version with an updated date and provide additional notice or obtain additional consent when required by law. Changes will not retroactively authorize processing for which applicable law required consent or prior notice.
